CEDAPP NewsBlast #444 Oct 2023

Updated: Oct 25, 2023

Local News from the Community Economic Development Association of Pollock Pines

Pollock Pines Friends of the Library (FOL)

All are welcome to attend our public FOL meeting

at the Pollock Pines library on Oct 10 at 11AM.

We are actively seeking new volunteers to help out at book sales and to join our Board of Directors. Our mission is to support our library, and its patrons; by encouraging literacy and lifelong learning, fostering community connections, and offering programs and services that inform, engage and entertain. This is especially important in a rural community such as ours. We can only achieve this through fundraising efforts; including memberships, book sales, donations and endowments. All funds raised are used exclusively for our Pollock Pines Library.

Members of the community can support the library by shopping our used book sales: fill a standard size bag for $5 at any time during library hours at the Foyer Book Sale.

Watch for our Mega Book Sales at Safeway on the Friday before Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends.

Become a member of FOL - starting at a $10 for an individual membership. Learn how to join here!

The Drop Off Road portion of work will start in April 2024 and be complete in June 2024. Read more and check for updates here.
